The friendly “European environment-flower” which has been awarded to us has become a distinctive mark for more environmental friendly companies in Europe and our 5 stars show our company’s high quality and equipment standard.

Some examples of certain environmental aspects of Insel-Camp Fehmarn:

• The use of energy-saving bulbs on the whole ground reduces the consumption of electrical power and gives plenty of light
• External and internal illumination is controlled automatically and so only turned on when actually needed
• The electrical power used on the whole camp-site consists of 100% hydropower and is environmentally friendly and climate-neutral
• Thanks to the hygienic technique to save water without touching, in our sanitary facilities this precious element only flows when you want
• Water is heated by solar power combined with modern gas-heating
• All sanitary facilities can be cleaned easily and by using environmental friendly detergents, hygienic cleaness is always guaranteed
