2Reservation and rental of stands

1. reservation

Reservations can be made for one or more nights (depending on availability). The reservation of certain pitches is only effective if this is expressly confirmed by us in writing. We reserve the right to allocate a different (but equivalent) pitch than the one reserved, provided it is at least of the same or a higher category.

2. ordering a stand

The order of a stand space for rent for a specific period can be made in writing (online booking, by e-mail, or fax/letter), in each case with complete sender data. Verbal orders and ancillary agreements are only effective if they are subsequently confirmed by us in writing. In the event of default on the part of the hirer, we may withdraw from a contract without written notification if the deposit has not been credited to our account within 3 days of acceptance of the contract, but at the latest within the payment deadline specified in the contract, and in any case before the start of the rental period. In this case, we reserve the right to invoice in accordance with clause 12. Even if a specific pitch has been confirmed above, in rare cases there may be a rebooking within the same category or to a higher category for operational reasons.

3. prices

For the current season, the “from” prices are valid, which are available on the Internet at www.inselcamp.de or are stated in the brochure with the relevant seasonal year. The prices are shown in the contract copy. The written contract takes precedence. If the total invoice amount for the rental during the booked period for the rental of a pitch does not exceed € 200.00, the amount is due immediately upon receipt of the invoice (with the exception of “Special” bookings). Otherwise, a deposit of 20% (but at least € 200.00) is due within 3 days of confirmation of the reservation, in any case before the start of the rental period. The difference to the agreed rental price is due no later than 28 days before the start of the rental period. Depending on market developments, we reserve the right to cap the electricity flat rate.

4. arrival and departure

The period from 12.00 noon to 11.00 a.m. on the following day is deemed to be the rental day. The stand may be occupied from 12.00 noon on the first day of the rental period. It must be vacated by 11.00 a.m. on the day the rental period ends. If the stand is not returned on time by 11.00 a.m. on the day of the agreed end of the rental period, we may, at our discretion, charge the price for an additional rental day; we reserve the right to assert further statutory rights.

5. setting up caravans and tents

The setting up of caravans and tents can be uniformly regulated by us in order to take account of safety and order issues. The instructions of our employees must be followed. We reserve the right and are entitled to assign the tenant a different pitch if this is necessary for important reasons (e.g. fire protection, safety distances) or for technical reasons. However, the relocation must be reasonable for the renter.

6. rental object

Every tenant and fellow traveler is obliged to treat the rented pitch and the property of other campsite users with care. They are obliged to report and compensate us for any damage caused by them, their fellow travelers or visitors.

7. visitors

Use of the pitch is only permitted to the tenant and their fellow travelers named in the contract. Visitors must be registered at reception before entering the facility. The tenant must pay a separate fee for visitors, the amount of which can be found in the price list.

8. rest periods

Quiet time is from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm and from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am. Arrivals and departures are not possible during these times.

9. site regulations

The tenant, fellow travelers and guests are obliged to comply with the site rules. The site rules are displayed at reception. We are entitled to terminate the rental contract without notice for good cause, e.g. in the event of gross or repeated breaches of the site rules.

10. return

The stand must be returned properly and clean on the day of departure. In the event of damage, we are entitled to demand the amounts necessary for repair.

11. late arrival, no-show or early departure

In the event of late arrival, non-arrival or early departure, we must be informed in good time. If a pitch is not occupied by the tenant by 12.00 noon on the day following the agreed start of the rental period, we reserve the right to rent the pitch to someone else. However, we are under no obligation to rent the space to someone else. In all cases, we are entitled to the agreed amount of rent. The value of the expenses saved shall be taken into account.

12 Cancellation

You have the right to withdraw from the concluded contract against payment of a flat-rate fee. Cancellation must be made in writing (an e-mail to info@inselcamp.de is sufficient). If a stand is canceled up to 28 days before the start of the rental period, we will retain 20% of the total rental price (but at least € 75). If a stand is canceled more than 10 days before the start of the rental period, we will retain 50% of the total rental price (but at least € 150). If the cancellation is received 10 days or less before the start of the rental period, we will retain 80% of the total rental price (but at least € 200). From the day of arrival onwards, the cancellation fee is 100%. We are aware that due to official orders or operational circumstances, certain communal facilities and offers may not be open and therefore cannot and may not be used and/or certain requirements must be met on arrival or during a stay. No claims for reduction or withdrawal can be asserted from this. In the event of withdrawal, non-arrival or early departure, our cancellation conditions apply. If, contrary to expectations, we are not allowed to open our site in the period you have booked due to official orders, we would always offer a free rebooking or, of course, comply with the then legally applicable regulations.

13. travel cancellation insurance

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. The insurance is valid from the time of booking until one day before the booked arrival date. It comes into force if one or more registered persons are unable to travel for the following reasons: Sudden illness or injury that is so serious that a stay is not possible from a medical point of view, or a first-degree death. Other reasons are excluded. If you are unable to travel for one of the above-mentioned reasons, the insurance will reimburse you for the cancellation costs incurred, subject to a 20% deductible. Cancellation or withdrawal is only valid if it is submitted to Insel-Camp Fehmarn in writing at least one day before arrival together with a corresponding certificate, e.g. a doctor’s certificate (a certificate of incapacity for work is not sufficient). The costs for the insurance amount to 5.00 euros per night and pitch (but at least 35 euros) and will be charged when the invoice for the booked stay is issued.
