General information
Where is the Insel-Camp Fehmarn located?
Insel-Camp Fehmarn is situated in a fantastic location directly on the fine sandy southern beach of the Baltic Sea. The site offers a wonderful view of the sea and an excellent southern exposure, ideal for sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts.

What types of parking spaces are there?
The island camp offers both premium comfort and comfort pitches, which are characterized by different sizes. However, all pitches have the same facilities and have an electricity, water and waste water connection as well as free Wi-Fi and a satellite TV connection.
Premium comfort pitches are located in rows 1-7. facing the sea and also have a paved awning area.
Important for campers: we do not have a separate tent pitch. Campers stay on the same pitches as other campers in caravans or motorhomes and therefore pay the same price as other guests.

How do I book my stay?
You can make a booking conveniently online, by telephone or by e-mail. On the website you will find an intuitive booking system that shows you availability and prices directly. You are also welcome to visit us without making a reservation or booking. This is particularly possible outside the high season and there are plenty of places available. You are also welcome to choose from various possible places on site.

What sanitary facilities are available?
The modern, heated sanitary blocks are equipped with every comfort: family bathrooms for private hire, a baby changing room and barrier-free facilities. These ensure that all guests feel at home, regardless of their needs.

Is there WLAN on the campsite?
Yes, WLAN is available on the entire site. Depending on how busy the site is, more or less bandwidth is available for each individual guest. Please make sure that you do not bring any private routers (such as Starlinks or Gigacubes) with you, as these interfere considerably with the site’s own network. For a reliable and stable connection, we have set up the Beachbox, where you can work in a relaxed coworking environment.
Can I rent bicycles?
The Insel-Camp has a small bike rental on site and rents out bikes for one day. For a larger selection or bike tours lasting several days, we cooperate with Sunnybike or 2Radfehmarn. You can also rent bikes online or by phone in advance and they will then be brought directly to the island camp on the desired date. So you can explore the surroundings of Fehmarn in an environmentally friendly and active way. From the south beach to the cliffs, there are numerous beautiful routes directly from our campsite.

Can I choose my preferred pitch on the beach?
Our so-called Premium Comfort pitches near the beach in rows 1-7 are very popular. Specific pitches can be selected during the booking process, subject to availability.

Is there a minimum booking period?
In the absolute high season, there may be a minimum length of stay. At other times, such as mid or low season, bookings can also be made for stays of just one night. Alternatively, you can of course always come to us without a reservation / booking. Outside the peak season, we always have a nice place for you.
What happens if I have to cancel my booking?
Cancellations are subject to the general terms and conditions of the Insel-Camp. A pro-rata refund is possible depending on the time of cancellation.
We recommend taking out our travel cancellation insurance or that of an external provider.

Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome in certain areas of the campsite (Oasis and Paradise). The campsite offers dog-friendly facilities such as a dog shower or a dog run, the “dog paradise” in which the leash requirement is lifted and is only 200 meters from the dog beach.
