Travel by electric vehicle and still arrive feeling completely relaxed: At Insel-Camp Fehmarn, you can easily charge your electric or hybrid vehicle right at your own campsite. To do so, simply pick up a charging adapter with a built-in electricity meter at the front desk, plug it into your power outlet, and then pay only for the electricity you actually use. We also rent electric scooters for exploring the island. Public fast-charging stations are available in the nearby town of Burg.

How to Charge Your Vehicle at the Parking Space

Borrow an adapter for free: A special charging adapter with a built-in electricity meter is required to charge electric and hybrid vehicles. You can simply borrow one from the front desk with no deposit required—no separate charging station needed.
Billed based on usage: With the adapter, you can charge your vehicle at your regular power outlet for €0.50 per kWh. If you’d like to charge faster, you can optionally book a 16-amp connection for €8 per night.
