No reservation: Seats cannot be booked in advance. First come, first serve. Allocated exclusively on site according to availability.

Maximum length of stay: 2 nights
Short stay directly on Fehmarn’s south beach – ideal for passing through or spontaneous breaks.

Price per night: 20 – 35 € seasonal prices regardless of the number of people. Lower rates in the early and late season, higher rates in the high season. Tourist tax must also be paid via the app. Payment is made during reception hours and at reception (outside of these times, payment can be made in the self-service market or restaurant).

Electricity via coin-operated machine: €1/kWh
Electricity is charged separately via coin-operated machines according to consumption. Change in 1 euro coins recommended.

Dogs welcome: Four-legged friends are free of charge. The nearest dog beach is only approx. 200 m west of the island camp.

Access to the site: The pitches in front of the barrier are outside the secure camping area. However, facilities such as sanitary facilities, WLAN, playgrounds etc. are accessible and can also be used.

Frequently asked questions

Can I reserve a parking space in front of the barrier?

No, reservations are not possible. Seats are allocated on site exclusively on the basis of availability – on a first-come, first-served basis. Please do not plan any fixed arrival times and have an alternative ready if necessary.

What is the maximum length of stay?

The stay on the pitches in front of the barrier is limited to a maximum of 2 nights. For longer stays, we recommend that you book one of the regular comfort pitches at Insel-Camp Fehmarn – these can be reserved.

How much does a parking space in front of the barrier cost?

Accommodation costs depend on the season and range between 20 and 35 euros per night. The lower prices apply in the early and late season, while the higher rate applies in the high season (July/August). You can find out the current price directly on site.

How does the power supply work?

Electricity is available and is charged via coin-operated machines. The price is 1 euro per kilowatt hour. Please have enough 1 euro coins ready. Note: Charging electric and hybrid vehicles at the regular power outlets is not permitted – please use the e-plug rental at reception.

Do I have access to the campsite and its facilities?

No. The pitches in front of the barrier are located outside the closed-off inner area of the island camp. Access to the sanitary facilities, restaurant, wellness area or other facilities is not possible from these pitches.

Are there sanitary facilities at the pitches in front of the barrier?

No, there are no sanitary facilities available at the pitches in front of the barrier. These pitches are therefore only suitable for self-sufficient motorhomes with their own toilet and shower. For guests who would like to use our sanitary facilities, we recommend booking a regular pitch.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome on the pitches in front of the barrier! The nearest official dog beach is only about 200 meters west of the island camp. Please keep your dog on a lead on the premises.

For whom are the parking spaces in front of the barrier suitable?

The pitches in front of the barrier are aimed specifically at motorhome travelers who want to stay overnight on Fehmarn spontaneously and without booking in advance. Ideal for 1-2 night stays, transit or when the regular campsite is fully booked. A self-sufficient vehicle is required, as there is no sanitary infrastructure.

What is the difference to a regular pitch in the island camp?

Regular pitches in the island camp can be reserved, are equipped with fresh water, waste water, electricity and cable TV and give access to all facilities (sanitary facilities, wellness, restaurant, beach). The pitches in front of the barrier are simpler – without sanitary facilities, without access to the grounds – but can be booked easily for short stays.
